Plot Summary:Provoked is the true story of Kiranjit Ahluwalia, a Punjabi woman who moved to London after her marriage with Deepak Ahluwalia. Her husband seemed caring at first but then began to beat her up. He started drinking a lot and sleeping around with other women. he also subjected her to spousal rape. After ten years and having two children with him, out of fear, she sets him on fire while he is sleeping, two hours after another scene of domestic violence. He succumbs to the injuries ans she is sentenced to prison for life for premeditated murder. However the Southall Black Sisters, an NGO which fights against domestic violence helps her get justice. And after spending 3 1/2 years in jail, she is set free and reunited with her two children.

讲家庭暴力，很有意义~ 不过前半段节奏实在太慢，女主开头的懦弱也令人生厌。好在后面还不错~
激怒是指由于他人一个或一系列行为导致临时性失去自我控制。
看到女主角被问及在监狱里的感受时的答案竟是：自由，心里很不是滋味。如果婚姻带来的是如此炼狱般的折磨，那爱的终点将多么渺茫。欣慰的是，在狱中，女孩终于学会自信 激怒，一个生活中如此容易理解的词语在法律上的定义居然如此艰难，多少人的坚持不懈，多少人的惨痛经历才换得了一个词条的更改。
女主很漂亮
7/10 这个传记片很好的体现了女性的感性 无论是女主角 监狱中的姐妹还是法庭上的警察 同时也感动了我 7分我认为很符合这个片子的剧本 镜头的运用和剪辑
故事显得老套
