Plot Summary:To give her overworked husband a life-saving vacation down south, Nora secretly takes out a loan and forges her father's signature. She takes pride in this secret, and the task of paying off the loan boosts her confidence as a woman in a male-dominated society. Nevertheless, she continues to live the life of the caring mother and child dependent wife whose main concern is to set up a cozy nest.
