Plot Summary:Antoaneta and Kiril are at the worker's club in a large railway yard. The boy tells her about his plans for their future, about their love. Antoaneta, however, is ill at ease. She leaves the room and get into the car. Behind the wheel is the lawyer Tahov, a man past his prime, the target of her mother's matchmaking aspirations.
