A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli). 结尾出乎意料，其他都挺无聊的。
身处噩梦中的迷宫场景非常漂亮，包括那个血色漩涡。和同时期铅黄片相比，弱化了那些华丽的谋杀戏份，相反重悬疑与推理，不过这个故事也太牵强了，后半段整个一绕来绕去。又看见阿莉达·瓦莉了。

被贩毒团伙抢了别墅的弗兰克，利用杀害了自己男友兼精神病医生卢卡斯的女精神病人朱莉赶走了贩毒团伙，然而最后却在试图控制把朱莉变成自己的奴隶时被朱莉所杀，毁灭于自己的欲望，拍摄手法非常规，增加了惊悚的感觉，德克斯特非常漂亮，剧情上有多次的反转，最后朱莉的反杀有些勉强。
